About Us
Taw Cottage lies in a secluded country setting nestling in the small hamlet of Taw Green near Dartmoor. Dartmoor National Park offers excellent walking and cycling opportunities within easy reach. Both north and south Devon coasts can be accessed within an hours drive with beaches such as Dawlish, Exmouth, Teignmouth or Bude. Historic and NT sites include Topsham, Museum of Dartmoor Life and Castle Drogo. The Tarka cycling trail runs past the cottage and golf, riding and fishing are all available locally. We offer a peaceful and tranquil location with views of Dartmoor, local country pubs and Devonshire villages and attractions. We also accept one well behaved dog who will not chase or attack sheep at an additional cost of £20.00 per week or £3.00 per night.
